In the 2024 municipal-level basic education teaching achievement awards, our school's mathematics teaching research group was awarded first prize for its project. This is a strong affirmation of our school's teaching reform efforts.
Award Details
Recently, the Municipal Education Bureau announced the results of the 2024 Basic Teaching Achievement Awards. Our school's Mathematics Teaching and Research Group submitted the project "Research on Layered Junior High School Mathematics Teaching Based on Core Competencies." After expert review and multiple rounds of defense, it was awarded the First Prize for Municipal Teaching Achievement.
Led by Prof. Wang Jianguo, this three-year project developed a tiered mathematics teaching approach that improves classroom effectiveness and boosts student engagement across all ability levels.
Teaching and Research Achievements Showcase
The research group will showcase its achievements and share experiences at the city-wide teaching and research exchange meeting next month. Teachers from partner schools will be invited to observe and learn.
